Potential Usages of Oilseeds
Online, May 15, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Oilseeds can not only be used for edible oil production. The oil cakes after oil production also has many usages. Here letЎ®s take soybean for example and have a simple overview.
Generally, the oil content of soybean is 25% and its corrosion rate is above 300%. As proved, if we first squeeze oil from soybeans, then make bean curd with oil cakes and finally feed cattle with the residue of bean curd, double or triple value and effects can be reached. Detailed operating methods are as following:
First, squeeze oil with soybean. Remove the impurities in soybean with screening, selecting etc, clean them with clear water and dry them for use. For example, we'd better husk black soybeans before putting them into screw oil press for squeezing. Then separate oil and oil cakes after squeezing them for twice. For 100 kilos of soybean, 10 to 12 kilos of oil and 80 kilos of oil cakes can be obtained after being squeezed for twice and 3 kilos of bean curd can be made from per kilo of oil cakes.
Second, employing oil cakes to make bean curd, we can directly boil them into soybean milk with no defibrination. For per 10 kilos of oil cakes, add 70 kilos of warm water and then dip them in wood barrel for 7 to 8 hours. Later, pour them into pot after stirring them together evenly. Remember to stir as you put flour in case of being burnt. After that pour them into filter for 2 to 3 minutes of burning to filter out the soybean milk for some pulp. Operation process: pour gesso water (gesso takes 1 percent and water 7 percent) around the paste jar slowly till blocks of bean curd jelly showing up. As to other procedures, refer to the traditional method of bean curd making.
In terms of oil cakes for other kinds of oil seeds, they can also be used for feeding animals or making them into fertilizer, etc. Whirlston has efficient experience and technology in specializing hydraulic oil press and screw oil press with various types available.
