At a size of 24cm x 2.5cm x 3.3cm and weighing only 130g it can be used with desktop, laptop and tablet PCs. The portability and flexibility of the SMI RED-m makes it easy to conduct market research studies at public sites, research in clinical environments, test interactive learning technologies at educational institutes or conduct in-home research. The device runs via a single USB port of a desktop, laptop or tablet computer and needs no additional power supply. Combined with SMI Experiment Suite 360° software for experimental design and analysis, the system is a ready to go portable eye tracking lab solution.
The SMI RED-m is designed for eye tracking researchers who require maximum mobility and flexibility combined with reliable data and the comprehensive set of features and metrics of a scientific grade eye tracker. High quality gaze and pupil data at a sampling rate of 60Hz and 120Hz ensure accurate and reliable results. The contact-free SMI RED-m uses automatic eye acquisition and head movement compensation technology which allows for large freedom of movement of participants in front of the eye tracker.
