Playata launches database to aid players in getting the most out of the latest online game "Aionâ€
Online, September 3, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Bernried (Germany), 3 September 2009: The open beta version of the ultimate resource for fans of NCsoft's MMORPG "Aion" is online: www.aiondatabase.com allows players to search for specific items, quests, characters, spells, recipes and more. Additional language versions will follow by the time Aion launches in Europe on 25 September. License partners can incorporate white label versions of Playata's database into their websites to gain a valuable source of content which is constantly updated.
www.aiondatabase.com contains an enormous wealth of Aion data: Items, quests, recipes, crafting materials, stigma stones, zone maps, characters, skills, spells, emotes, titles and more. Items can be viewed, zoomed and rotated in 3D. Users might also take a "dib" ("database image browser") to find the coolest gear and weapons or listen to voice samples of NPCs and character emotes. Smart links to YouTube suggest matching videos to be viewed within the database. Locations of quest targets and resources are displayed on maps. The database will be updated with every content patch and made available in additional languages (according to Aion's localization progress).
