SAN DIEGO, November 15, 2022 (Newswire.com) - San-Diego based life-science service provider Pipette.com has announced the opening of a new ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory in the Cleveland, OH, metropolitan area this month.
"We look forward to strengthening the highly investable East Coast life sciences community, specifically enriching a northeast Ohio corridor that's received a significant amount of venture dollars and leads the nation in medical research and health services," said Ryan Arnold, Chief Growth Officer and Interim CEO for Pipette.com. "In addition to life sciences, the Great Lakes region, and more broadly, the eastern United States supports a robust scientific community, which transcends academia through GMP manufacturing."
The laboratory, based in a mixed-use facility on the I-480 and I-271 shared corridor, will boast a hybrid laboratory, mechanical/preventative maintenance, and light distribution operation, extending nationwide access to critical services beyond the existing headquarters and footprint in San Diego, California.
"We are thrilled to fulfill a promise our customers have been asking for across the nation for years. Delivering two-day low-cost return shipping to virtually every corner of the lower 48 states without a heavy shipping fee strikes an important balance between cost and quality," said Alex Spector, President and Chairman of Pipette.com.
The company has an active pipeline of science-based talent and a robust pipeline of business opportunity to expand both laboratory-based and future field-based calibration and lab maintenance services to enhance the modern laboratory.
The new facility is actively processing customer pipette calibrations, with full laboratory and distribution capacity in place by January 2023.
Pipette.com, The Feel Good Company, is one of several companies affiliated with parent company Matphil Technologies, Inc.
