Advances in Machine Learning Enable Leading Propane Provider to Manage 60,000 Customer Locations with a Single Forecast and Demand Planner

Working with John Galt, Pinnacle Propane brings in daily sources of IoT data including telemetry (cellular sensor) inventory data, in addition to POS (point of sale) and customer sales history to drive the supply chain plan. Telemetry data, for example, is sent by an IoT sensor placed on top of bulk storage tanks which allows Pinnacle to measure inventory levels at each customer location. The Atlas Planning Platform transforms this raw data into daily usage to re-plan replenishment needs every morning.
