New York , November 17, 2014 (Newswire.com) - The Glory Gospel Singers; a New York-based aggregation of professional vocalists and musicians are set to headline an international winter tour with extensive repertoire in gospel and classical genre. The tour will commence with multiple ensembles in Germany (Nov. 23, 2014 - Feb. 25, 2015), Belgium (Dec. 5-7, 2014) and Japan (Dec. 6-25, 2014).
Under the direction of Founder, Phyliss McKoy Joubert; an award-winning Mezzo-Soprano, Arranger, and Clinician; the group will reach a benchmark of 192 tours in over 188 countries since its inception in 1995. The tour repertoire will include Joubert’s original arrangements of “Amazing Grace”, “William Tell Overture”, Japanese anime, along with other choice classical and gospel pieces.
