NEW YORK, NY, May 8, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Phoenix AmeriCap Oil Limited, an exploration focused oil company today announced the appointment of Andrew Urey as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors effective on May 8th, 2015. In this role, Mr. Urey will assume overall responsibility for Phoenix AmeriCap oil, including all lines of business and all functional groups in the Company, and his primary and immediate objectives will be to spearhead the firm’s initiatives to raise capital to complete the farm in process, develop OPL 2012, and acquire additional assets. Mr. Urey will have the responsibility of expanding the firm’s operations and attracting a quality management team. He will also play a key role in the development of governance structures for zero tolerance of corruption and bribery, anti-corruption, and due diligence framework for the firm.

He has raised capital for many firms and funds in oil and gas and various commodities. He has been intricately involved and influential in facilitating the firm’s acquisition of OPL 2012.
