Phaze Concrete Has Built a Name for Itself Despite Its Humble Beginnings

Phaze Concrete, Phaze Concrete Utah, Phaze Concrete Hildale

Phaze Concrete began as a small company that poured sidewalks for small projects in Nevada and Utah. However, they eventually expanded to hundreds of projects, including large warehouses, hotels, airports, etc.

The company built a name for itself quickly despite its humble beginnings. Their portfolio is now quite impressive.

The secret to their success lies in picking highly skilled teams of workers who embody the professionalism of the company on the construction site.

In order to keep the standards high, all the employees work together as part of a team that is focused on keeping a friendly and stress-free atmosphere for the newest members as well as for the senior members.

These high standards paid off when Phaze Concrete's Experience Modification (EMOD) rating rose at 0.72%, which demonstrates the professionalism and commitment of the firm to their employees.

Within the company, there are many apprenticeship programs where new workers or people who didn't receive a high school diploma can learn transferable skills. The programs are available not only for the workers but also for their family members.

One of the newest goals of Phaze Concrete is to provide their workers the best industry training available. Thus, the company is now joining forces with the Department of Labor's Department of Apprenticeships, working on new and exciting education programs.

The importance of apprenticeship programs was recognized by U.S. Secretary of Labor  Alexander Acosta in 2017 when he attended a meeting where training programs, particularly those for economic sectors with growth potential, were discussed.

At the moment, Phaze Concrete is one of the 37,000 programs in the United States that are committed to providing training at the highest standards possible.

The company is also proud that their training programs are no longer unionized. Instead, they are focused on helping anyone of any age or gender to learn while working.

One of the Phaze Concrete’s representative says: "We don't want our employees simply to come to work and earn a paycheck and go home; we want them to come and have a valuable experience, learning transferable skills that can improve every aspect of their life. Registered apprentices, regardless of their age, will have the opportunity to complete their GED, if they have not received a high school diploma or equivalent. Phaze provides the GED readiness course that is available to all employees and family members of our employees. When employees make the commitment to the apprenticeship program, Phaze Concrete makes a commitment to them to give them the most well-rounded industry training available. Doing the right thing has been an important value for the Phaze team, often going the extra mile to make sure customers get what they expected and have an active involvement with solutions to the daily challenges and hurdles of today's construction industry. Our crews work hard as a team to keep commitments and schedules while traveling across the nation to deliver the quality the industry has come to expect from us."

One of the most profitable industries in the U.S is the construction industry, offering millions of jobs every year. But few can apply to these jobs if they don't have the required training.

Many Americans lose employment and promotions simply because they don't have the credentials to make the next step.

Phaze Concrete is one of the few companies that desire to get the most of their workers by investing in their education, and the education of their family members, to prepare everyone to enter the workforce.

The company believes that the investments made in training workers and their families will not only contribute to an increase in productivity but also to the well-being of society as a whole.
