For over ten years, the Utah-based company, Phaze Concrete, has been a staple in producing quality concrete structures in the construction industry.

The business has offices in multiple locations, as well as having a license to carry their duties to 17 states across the United States. The majority of their work is in the western part of the country.

Here are four features to know about Phaze Concrete and how they contributed heavily to the construction industry:

Phaze Concrete Has Their Own GED Program For Employees And Family

First, Phaze made one of the most progressive-thinking moves by a trades-based company. They interpolated the GED Readiness Program for all workers. The program develops apprentices and employees, including their family members, for taking the GED test.

Also, these employees can continue to work and make a living as they prepare.

“We don’t want our workers and staff to come to work and earn a paycheck and go home,” says a Phaze Concrete spokesperson.

“We want them to have a valuable experience, learning interchangeable skills that can improve every phase of their life. Phaze provides the GED readiness program that is accessible to all employees and their family members,” adds the spokesperson.

Recognized By The Department Of Labor’s Department of Apprenticeships

The company put together a new plan, which partnered with the Department of Labor’s Department of Apprenticeships. This program incorporates functional and technical work, helping young craftsmen gain the knowledge and skills they need to thrive on the construction site.

As a result, The Department of Labor acknowledges Phaze’s program as one of the 37,000 available in the country. Currently, 26 employees of Phaze have enrolled in the cement mason apprenticeship.

“When employees commit to the apprenticeship program, Phaze commits to them,” a Phaze spokesperson adds. “Producing the right obligation has been an essential value for the Phaze team.”

Phaze Concrete's Revenue Keeps Rising Each Year

Phaze Concrete is predicted to make $148 million in annual revenues, and after 14 years in the business, that number grows.

They began with small jobs in Nevada and Utah, working in residential homes and pouring driveways. Slowly, their work on residential substituted with those of significant commercial properties, such as parking garages and Walmart stores.

Finally, with nearly 250 employees, Phaze always promises to deliver jobs on time and sometimes under budget. This promise has provided Phaze Concrete to become a leader in their industry and trusted for big projects throughout the Western United States.

Phaze Concrete Says Safety For Employees Is High Priority

The business has always been committed to enhancing the quality of their work but also improving performance. To accomplish this, Phaze Concrete guarantees that all employees work together as part of a team. This policy means everyone is committed to producing a safe, professional, and friendly atmosphere where everybody wants to operate.

Also, while finishing jobs promptly and efficiently, they have kept the high measure of making sure all workers are safe on the production site.

Their Experience Modification (EMOD) rating currently holds at 0.72 percent, which shows their commitment to the safety of their workers.

Phaze Concrete is concentrating heavily on mobilization; they are still looking for ways to arrange travel and comforts in an affordable, efficient method for their workers.

Also, the company is investing gradually in broadening the skills of their workforce so that they are able to meet distinct and arising demands.

For Phaze Concrete, the center has always been on finishing jobs on-time and sometimes under budget. But also implementing the proper resources for their employees so they can succeed on the production site and in their personal lives.
