PepperBall® Showcases Its Next‐generation Non-Lethal Systems at Mock Prison Riot, Moundsville, West Virginia, May 2-3

Chicago, IL, May 2, 2017 (Newswire.com) - PepperBall®, a division of United Tactical Systems, LLC and the world leader in non-lethal .68 OC/PAVA and CS chemical-irritant systems, announced today that it will be showcasing several of its new products at the annual Mock Prison Riot in Moundsville, West Virginia.

The Mock Prison Riot is a four-day, comprehensive law enforcement and corrections tactical and technology experience that takes place May 2-3, including 40,000 square feet of exhibit space, training scenarios, technology demonstrations, certification workshops, and a skills competition.

PepperBall® debuted many of these new products at SHOT Show this year, and is pleased to be able to give officers competing at the Mock Prison Riot the opportunity to get “hands-on” experience with these new products. Officers attending the Mock Prison Riot will be able to see and demo each of the following new products from PepperBall®:

• The PepperBall® VKS™ launcher – a highly versatile platform that fires PepperBall’s proprietary VXR™ magazine‐fed shaped projectiles as well as traditional round PepperBalls® projectiles, with the capability for the user to vary the velocity of the rounds, enabling many different kinds of less‐lethal missions in a single system.
• The PepperBall® FTC™ launcher – a durable launcher with several user-defined options, including the ability to position the HPA bottle either forward or rearward.
• The PepperBall® FTC-SF™ launcher – a select-fire, high-capacity launcher with anti-jam, EL-2™ hopper.
• The PepperBall® TCP™ – a first-ever mini-pistol, compact enough to comfortably be worn on a duty belt, and capable of utilizing both PepperBall® round and VXR shaped projectiles.
• The PepperBall® Drone – which combines on-board camera surveillance and evidence collection with precision deployment of PepperBall® irritant powder utilizing a unique targeting and release technology, allowing for expanded mission capability.
