Peak Concepts Sets New Year Goals for Success, Hiring in Q1

Managers at Peak Concepts are implementing operational initiatives for 2016 to capitalize on the firm's momentum from 2015. Also, the company Director discussed the qualities he seeks in a new marketer.

“The past year has been great for us at Peak Concepts, and honestly it would be easy to rest on our laurels,” said Ryan, the firm’s Director of Operations. “However, complacency is a dangerous thing – especially in the digital age. A company can’t rely on yesterday’s success to ensure tomorrow’s relevancy.”

To keep Peak Concepts on the cutting edge of sales marketing, Ryan sets organization-wide goals. These are benchmarks by which progress is measured, and they also provide direction and focus in day-to-day operations. The Director establishes targets for traditional business areas, like sales and revenue, but also for less easily measured zones like customer satisfaction, team growth, and loss prevention. “It may take a bit more creativity, but I believe goals are vital for every facet of a business. Having clearly-defined objectives is how we accomplished so much in 2015, and I’m sure our goals will lead us to success in 2016.”

"Our growth goals are nothing short of aggressive, and we're starting Q1 with a hiring push."

Peak Concepts’ Director Shares Desirable Attributes for a New Hire

As Ryan mentioned, the modern business world moves at an incredibly fast pace. In light of this, the Peak Concepts team is always seeking new and better ways to provide consumers opportunities to connect with brands in a personally meaningful way. To achieve this lofty objective, new divisions are being created within the firm, creating several openings for qualified professionals to join the ranks.

“Our growth goals are nothing short of aggressive, and we’re starting Q1 with a hiring push. We need new, enthusiastic talent with fresh perspectives to continue to provide the world-class promotions for which we’re known,” Ryan stated.

While experience in sales and marketing is a plus, it’s not necessary. Peak Concepts has a fantastic training program that will provide new hires with all the practical knowledge they need. Instead, Ryan looks for personality traits in his interviewees, which help him determine whether a person will fit with the firm’s culture. “I look for specific qualities,” shared Ryan. “I want to know a person is hardworking, reliable, optimistic, and a self-starter. Candidates also have to be team-oriented, with good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. I like to see flexibility, organization, and a good dose of self-confidence as well. When an interviewee brings these traits to the table, I know he or she will be a good fit, regardless of experience.”
