PCI Security Makes Holidays Brighter for Payment Processing

E-Complish Attains PCI 3.2 Level 1 Certification for Highest Compliance for Visa and Mastercard

With the holiday season in full swing, having a secure payment system adds some extra holiday cheer to a merchant’s credit card transaction processing. Knowing that the system they have chosen has reached that extra, most current level of security compliance can provide comfort as merchants process orders for the season.

Often retailers rely on the holiday to provide as much as 20 percent of the full year’s revenue. With credit cards swiping quickly, retailers need the surety that the transactions will be secure, for both customers and their own reputation. Off-site transaction processing must also be secure.

We have been PCI compliant since 2009 and intend to continue on the front line of the security and compliance standards.

Stephen Price, E-Complish CEO

E-Complish is pleased to announce that they have achieved certification as a Level 1 Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards Council Compliant Service provider for the newest, most stringent standard, PCI DSS version 3.2. As one of the earliest certified 3.2 providers for Visa and Mastercard, the new certification level was put into effect in October 2016.

“E-Complish upholds the strictest compliance standards for processing.  We take transparency seriously for our client’s customers. The new PCI 3.2 standards mean that multi-factor authentication is used in more credit processing locations,” says Stephen Price, E-Complish CEO.

PCI Security Standards now include requirements to protect transactions at “non-console administrative access and all remote access” with multi-factor authentication, which requires more than one security method. The resource guide strongly states that companies should address the growing cyberthreats by adopting these changes for payment safeguarding during all parts of the transaction processing.

As the payment processing industry is involved with more volume and complex transactions, E-Complish is committed to making sure that the merchant is paid.

Adhering to standards such as the new PCI DSS 3.2, means that future hacks, such as those disclosed for Wendy’s restaurants that affected thousands of credit card transactions disclosed in July 2016, could be avoided.

As a service provider for both Visa and Mastercard payment processing, E-Complish is partnered with companies to help them provide the most convenient and secure payment options. E-Complish’s customer service is unmatched; they still manage and process payments for their first original client that started with them 18 years ago.

What makes E-Complish unique is the customization provided so that clients that use the service are on the frontline, without having E-Complish inserted into the processing for customers to see. Both phone payments and online processing are available for organizations of all sizes. Customer support and a commitment to security at all levels and in all transactions provides clients with confidence in using E-Complish payment services as their own.

“We have been PCI compliant since 2009 and intend to continue on the front line of the security and compliance standards,” Price says. “As widespread evidence of system hacking and global incursions into payment and data systems increase, adhering to the updated PCI DSS 3.2 standards is essential.”
