Many people have called this longstanding used bookstore a "hidden gem" and numerous positive reviews show the commitment to excellent customer service and value at Paperbacks Plus.

During the month of November, Paperbacks Plus is offering daily and weekly drawings as well as three more drawings held at the end of the month to close this momentous occasion.

The daily drawings will be held at each of their Dallas area locations and will award a $25 gift certificate to each winner. On Saturdays, there will be a combined drawing of all the entries for that week which were not previously selected for a $50 gift certificate. Finally, there will be three additional
combined drawings for gift certificates in values of $100, $200, and $300 on November 30th.

To enter into any of these drawings, simply visit either store and fill out an entry form. You can enter as many drawings as you wish, but only once per drawing. Winners do not need to be present in order to win any of these drawings.

In honor of Thanksgiving, Paperbacks Plus will also be offering a thanks-giving discount for people who have maintained a trade-in account prior to November 1, 2010. This discount will be for 10% of the cash portion of all purchases during the month. Paperbacks Plus wants to say thank you to all those who bring in their books, movies, and music that they no longer need.

If you do not already have a trade-in account with Paperbacks Plus, you can easily start one by bringing your unneeded books, movies and music to either location for consideration. By trading in items, you will earn trade credit that can pay for up to half of the normal price of merchandise you would like to purchase. Trade-ins must be in good condition. The value allowed for each item will reflect the stores' supply and demand.

You may also be able to get cash for some of your things, but keep in mind that this is a much more selective process and the rates will generally be around 60% of the trade-in value. Books that the stores cannot use can be left for their free area at the front of each store, which each customer is encouraged to help themselves to.
