Chef Alfredo Alvarez is back in Miami and ready to make new waves on the culinary scene at Palmeiras beach Club at Grove Isle

It's Official  Chef Alfredo Alvarez, the passionate Venezuelan-born chef who last year opened Seasalt and Pepper, the successful seafood brasserie and lounge destination on the Miami River, and set his culinary footprint at two of Coral Gables’ iconic Italian restaurants in the 90s, Casa Rolandi and Giacosa, is back in Miami and ready to make new waves on the culinary scene at Palmeiras Beach Club at Grove isle said Sami Kohen and Jacques Wulffaert  Managing partners of Palmeiras.

After successfully opening his newest restaurant, Santru, in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, Alvarez is primed to take on his newest role as Culinary Ambassador for the new Palmeiras Beach Club on Grove Isle in Coconut Grove. While details are still forthcoming about Palmeiras, one thing we do know is that the acclaimed chef will oversee the island property’s Food & Beverage program, including the Main Dining Room with its breathtaking waterfront indoor and patio seating, a 20-seat private dining room, as well as a pool and beach club lounge area.  Guests can expect a menu influenced by cuisines spanning the Mediterranean coasts of Spain, France, Italy and Greece.
