Pacific Life Insurance Detects Internal Network Bottleneck with WebLOAD Professional
Online, January 20, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Rosh Haayin, Israel, January 20, 2010 - RadView Software Ltd. (OTCBB: RDVWF), announced today that Pacific Life Insurance has successfully completed a load test of their Lawson ERP system and has managed to detect a bottleneck in their firewall. The test was done with WebLOAD Professional and was implemented solely by Pacific Life employees.
Pacific Life's first encounter with WebLOAD was the download of the WebLOAD Open Source edition. This edition of WebLOAD had a limited feature set and Pacific Life quickly recognized the need to upgrade to WebLOAD Professional for additional features and productivity gains.
"WebLOAD was the key to identifying a problem in our network where the Firewall was refusing connections after the 35,000 "max connections" setting on the Firewall," said Ron Loofbourrow, project manager for Pacific Life. "We had IT raise the max to 100,000 connections and WebLOAD runs like a charm. I don't believe we would have discovered this until we had a significant load of users on the Lawson system and it crashed."
"Pacific Life was very prudent in their approach to load-testing their Lawson system," said Rami Goraly, RadView's CEO. "We are happy to have been given the opportunity to contribute to this successful load testing project."
