OWIT South Florida Calls for Nominations for the 2010 International Business Woman of the Year Awards (IBWOY)

MIAMI, FL -- (LogosPR) - The Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT) - South Florida Chapter, which is part of a worldwide organization dedicated to advancing global trade opportunities for women, is on the search for nominations for the 9th Annual 2010 IBWOY Awards.
The IBWOY Awards, now in its 9th consecutive year, recognizes outstanding women in the South Florida community for the role they play as trade advocates and for fostering opportunities in international trade and business in South Florida through their professional and/or community activities. This year's Award will honor three women for their achievements in the following award categories: Large Company, Small to Medium sized Company and Service Award.
Entries for the 9th Annual International Business Woman of the Year (IBWOY) Awards are now being accepted. All women engaged in international business activities or activities that help promote or mentor other women in the international business arena within the State of Florida are eligible to be nominated. People interested in nominating a deserving candidate, can fill out the 2010 IBWOY Awards Nomination Form and submit the completed application to Lexi Segre at lexi@brand-blaze.com before September 24, 2010!
Last year's IBWOY Awards gathered over 200 people who united to recognize Martha Clark, Adobe Systems, Inc., Carolina Rendeiro, Business Centers International, and Liane Ventura, Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce for their outstanding work in the international community. This year's event promises to be just as exciting, starting with the keynote address by Donna E. Shalala, University of Miam President and former Secretary for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
