Tsirikaua’s new collection of handmade leather belts will feature a blend of new colors, new designs on buckles, and various combinations of leather(s), metals and gemstones. The new belts collection will include different styles with a touch of  Western look, Boho style, and a few Classic choices, according to the latest fashion trends. After running into a stranger in the street wearing the most awesome belt he had ever seen, Nikos Douvogiannis set out to look for a similar belt with no success. He eventually tracked down the belt maker, but instead of buying a belt, Nikos decided to learn the trade and rekindle a childhood dream. His aim was to leave his regular job as customs broker soon after that, and thus, Tsirikaua was born. He has never looked back, and the business has continued on a steady rise since then. Tsirikaua is currently co-owned by Nikos and his wife, Georgia, and the company’s tagline is: "Wearable art on silver, leather and more..."

The raw materials that go into producing Tsirikaua’s masterpieces are sourced locally. In addition to cowhide leather, Nikos also uses exotic leathers from ostrich and python skins, from farmed and other sustainable international sources. Metals include solid bronze, in bronze and white color, and sterling silver. Belts and all other leather or metal products are handcrafted by Nikos himself in his workshop, and he has been in the business since 1993, moving from Athens to Mykonos, and now currently at Andros, Cyclades. The high quality of Tsirikaua’s final products is guaranteed by the high quality of the raw materials used. Each belt from Tsirikaua is built to last a lifetime (and has a lifetime after sale service). The beauty of owning a Tsirikaua belt is the fact that all belts are custom-made to order.
