Orlando Dinner Show Special Showing for the Hearing Impaired

Capone's Dinner & Show, located in Orlando, Florida is scheduling a special showing that will include two interpreters for the hearing impaired. This dinner show will take place August 3, 2012. Other nights throughout the year are also being planned.

Capone's Dinner & Show is excited to announce that on Friday, August 3, 2012 special accommodations will be made to include 2 interpreters for the hearing impaired. It is estimated that nearly four of every 1,000 people in the U.S. are "functionally deaf," and 19 million adults are classified as hard-of-hearing or deaf. This makes it difficult to enjoy a theater production. Capone's Dinner & Show is working on changing that and would like to extend an invitation to all hearing impaired individuals to enjoy their show on August 3 at half price!

Accommodations are made for other special needs on a daily bases, such as wheelchair access and dietary restrictions, however, this is the first occasion that Capone's Dinner & Show will feature interpreters for the deaf. "We're excited to make this accommodation and hope the area's deaf community will take advantage of this special production," stated John Kucik, owner of Capone's. "We're planning to include an interpreter for future shows, so we're anxious to see the response. We want to make it possible for everyone to enjoy our show to the fullest."

While hiring an interpreter every evening at Capone's Dinner & Show is not planned at this time, scheduling certain nights throughout the year is definitely in the works. Spreading the news to the deaf community to gain support for these special dates is a real need. Orlando dinner shows should be enjoyed by everyone despite their disability.

If you know a deaf person, or a group that represents the hearing impaired, that would like to attend Capone's Dinner & Show with the accommodation of having an interpreter, please contact Capone's at 1-800-220-8428. You can get your tickets at half price for the August 3rd show by purchasing your tickets online at www.alcapones.com. There is a comment box on the order form to include special needs. All deaf individuals will be seated for the best view of one of the interpreters.
