MAYVILLE, N.Y., July 7, 2022 (Newswire.com) - Chautauqua County is holding a two-day closing, online-only real estate auction for the County's tax foreclosed real estate properties. The online auction, conducted by Buffalo-based Auctions International, will commence Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 12 p.m. and begin closing Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 10 a.m. EDT.
Over 600 properties in total will be up for auction during the online-only auction event. To allow for the volume of the properties up for sale, the auction will start on the same day, but the closing dates are divided up as follows:
Day 1 Auction Closing: Cities of Jamestown and Dunkirk: Thursday, July 21, 2022, starting at 10 a.m.
Day 2 Auction Closing: All other Towns/Villages: Friday, July 22, 2022, starting at 10 a.m.
Among the properties to be sold are vacant lots, acreage, residential homes, commercial buildings and more.
"We have never conducted an auction like this before," claims RJ Klisiewicz, Operations Manager for Auctions International and Chautauqua County native. "We have done tax foreclosure auctions with Chautauqua in the past, but none to this magnitude. Breaking up the online auction and offering two closing dates makes it very manageable and less cumbersome for interested parties looking to participate."
In order to participate in this online auction, all interested parties must complete the online bidder registration packet (specific to this sale) and create an online bidding account with Auctions International. The link to download the materials is on the Auctions International website. Only one packet is needed for both days of the auction's closings. Once completed, potential bidders must mail their packet (and required documentation) to: Auctions International, Inc., 11167 Big Tree Rd, East Aurora, NY 14052 by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. There are no exceptions.
