OnixS Announces the OnixS .NET FIX Engine Version 3 Release

Online, June 19, 2013 (Newswire.com) - OnixS released Version 3 of the OnixS .NET FIX Engine and FAST Encoder/Decoder SDK for the Microsoft .NET Framework. The OnixS .NET FIX Engine is a high performance, low latency Financial Information Exchange (FIX) Protocol implementation that supports the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5.

It is designed to FIX-enable .NET C#, VB.NET, and managed C++ trading applications using a reliable supported FIX implementation.

With this release, OnixS has implemented more than 90 key improvements in the areas of:

- Performance enhancements for throughput (up 63%), parsing speed (up 44%), and latency (down 8% - but then it was already a low number),

- The FIX FIXML convertor was added to the standard distribution to enable seamless integration of FIX and FIXML message flows,

- New pool-based threading model providing fine grained threading and thread affinity controls to facilitate tuning support for large numbers of FIX Sessions using limited hardware resources. This is especially important for larger Sell-Side organizations supporting high numbers of, and volumes from, client order flow,

- And Visual Studio 2012 project samples support added to support the latest development tools.
