One Stop Fashions Partners with Dignity U Wear

"One Stop fashions" partners with "Dignity U Wear" a nonprofit organization helping millions of families to those less fortunate with brand new clothing.

One Stop Fashions opened online to the public in March of 2010. They are a family owned and operated apparel store for all sized women. They wanted to be much more than just an online retail store. The owner Melissa Sherman decided to get more involved with their customers and with the online community by creating their own program called "One Stop Fashion's Gives Back" The program offers monthly giveaways. The public can enter at no cost to them. It's One Stop Fashion's way of showing appreciation to their customers and the public for their support, also a way to give back.

The owner Melissa Sherman said, she not only wanted to gives back to her customers, but to also reach out beyond the online community. Melissa Sherman came across a website called "Dignity U Wear" she was amazed to know this nonprofit foundation has clothed millions of families all over the country with brand new clothing donated by generous retailers. Melissa stated "This is the most amazing organization I have ever seen." They take time out of their busy days to volunteer, sort and distribute clothing all over the nation to families in need. Working with retailers and becoming a family, themselves to help others in need. Melissa was so touched by this charity she decided to partner with them and donated clothing from her online store to Dignity U Wear. Melissa stated "when you are in business big or small, some people fail to realize how much they can do for others in their time of need" If more retailers are touched as much as I was we can make a change today with helping those less fortunate.

Melissa Quoted "Doing the smallest things in life can make a huge difference in someone's life". Thus, the mission of Dignity U Wear is to positively impact the lives of children and their families in need by providing brand new clothing at no cost to the recipients. Dignity U Wear partners with the apparel industry to provide the supply of clothing and then works through a network of social service agencies to deliver the clothing based on specified needs. Founded by Henri Landwirth in 2000, the organization has provided more than 6.6 million pieces, valued at $120 million, to more than 450,000 people.
