OnCorps to Feature Harvard Kennedy School Professor Julia Minson at 8th Decision Analytics Forum

Dr. Julia Minson

Dr. Julia Minson, Assistant Professor at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a leading behavioral scientist, will speak at the OnCorps Decision Analytics Forum in New York City on Thursday, March 21st. In the eighth session of the invitation-only series, Minson will share her latest research on how people are influenced by AI algorithms and the “psychology of disagreement.” Her research has led to groundbreaking findings about how people engage with opinions, judgments, and decisions that are different from their own, particularly in an online, AI-based world.

OnCorps will also present its latest work on applying machine learning to influence better decision-making.

The OnCorps Decision Analytics Forum draws executives from premier organizations including Goldman Sachs, Bain Capital, State Street, and EY.

More on Julia Minson

Julia Minson is an Assistant Professor of Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of government. She is a social psychologist with research interests in group judgment and decision-making, negotiations, and social influence. Julia is the organizer of the Colloquium on Research Results in Advancing Leadership (CORRAL) speaker series, sponsored by the Center for Public Leadership and the Management Leadership and Decision Sciences Area. She is also Faculty Director of the Harvard Decision Science Laboratory. Prior to coming to the Kennedy School, Julia served as a Lecturer at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where she taught Negotiations at both the MBA and the undergraduate levels. She received her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Stanford University and her BA in Psychology from Harvard University.
