Omni Events, Inc.'s Team is Learning, Growing, and Giving Back

Omni Events, Inc.’s team traveled to a national conference to learn industry best practices, asks social media audience to choose next charitable effort, and hires new team members.

The Omni Events, Inc. team was excited to attend a recent national conference. This event is an opportunity for top performers to meet other leaders across the nation and learn best practices. Megan, Brice, Kara, and Kim were selected to attend. “We encourage team members to take notes as they go through their training and when they return to the office, and train other team members on what they learned,” said Perry, the President of Omni Events, Inc.

"We had such a great time with the Humane Society, and we couldn't wait to jump back in and be involved with another cause."

Perry, President

“Over the course of this all-expenses-paid trip[m1] , our team received training that will assist them in setting their own personal quarterly goals as well as help other team members set and attain quarterly goals. Traveling to national conferences is a great way for team members to step back and look at the industry from a different perspective, talk to others who are working on similar campaigns, and return home energized to set challenging goals.”

Omni Events, Inc. Team Sets Fun Goals for Philanthropy

“Our team has participated in numerous philanthropy events previously and enjoys giving back to the community,” said Perry. In the past, the team worked with Portland’s Humane Society and really enjoyed spending time with the animals. “We had such a great time with the Humane Society, and we couldn’t wait to jump back in and be involved with another cause.” Team members Lisa and Megan also participated in the Sweet Run 2016, which was hosted by The Cupcake Girls.

The team has a goal to participate in philanthropy every quarter, so they need to come up with a new cause to support. This time, though, they have decided to ask their community. “Leaving it in the hands of our social media audience will be fun,” said Perry. “They will decide what event our company should participate in.”

“We want not only to engage with the audience, but more importantly, show our commitment to the Portland area. We are hoping to learn about community events we didn’t know about,’ added Perry. The team is looking for ideas that will make giving back fun and will have a good impact on the community.

“Giving back to our community is incredibly important to our team,” said Perry, “It’s even more important for me. I have always been passionate about supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. My cousin had cystic fibrosis and the foundation gave him tremendous support to help him recover.” While each team member at Omni Events, Inc. has a different favorite way to give back, the team also enjoys events where they get to work together for the community good.

Omni Events, Inc. Is Hiring

“This has been a busy quarter with the Omni Events, Inc. team participating in philanthropy and traveling to a national conference. We are busy and growing and we are excited to announce that we are hiring,” said Perry. “We are looking for self-motivated individuals. Anyone with a great work ethic and student mentality should apply. We coach each individual who works with us to give them the training and experience they need to excel.”

Anyone interested in joining the team can apply via the company’s website.
