Omega Announces Exciting Upgrades to Its HANI Temperature Sensor Product Family

Sensors Are Now IP67 Rated and Feature Increased Temperature Ranges
HANI - Now IP67 Rated!

Omega Engineering, a leading force in temperature measurement for over six decades, has recently implemented some customer-requested upgrades to its entire family of HANITM Temperature Sensors – a series of sensors that includes:

These improvements to the innovative, award-winning HANI temperature sensing technology include an IP67 rating for all HANI products. An IP67 rating, which is widely geared towards food and beverage applications, indicates that a device is protected against immersion in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes, meaning that the HANI sensors can survive in even some of the harshest washdown environments.

In addition, temperature ranges have been increased for all models – from 0 oC to 100 oC to -20 oC to 100 oC.

“With the proprietary algorithm we’ve developed, HANI technology does what few even thought was possible: it installs with the ease of surface sensors while offering the high accuracy and high performance of traditional immersion sensors,” says Ken Leibig, Director of Engineering at Omega.  “And now, with these newest upgrades and enhancements, HANI technology is becoming even more universal – no matter the environment of the application.”

No matter which sensor an application requires, HANI sensors can stand up to some of the harshest industrial environments out there while still delivering the speed and accuracy of invasive immersion sensors.

So go ahead. Get it wet. Get it dirty. Rinse and repeat. HANI sensors will deliver.
