Old Bridge Funeral Home "Best of the Best" in the US!
Old Bridge, NJ, October 25, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Old Bridge Funeral Home was recently honored as one of the only three funeral homes in the nation to receive the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) Best of the Best Award!
The award was in recognition of OBFH’s development and creation of a new publication called “All Around Old Bridge,” which had a positive impact on the families and communities they served this year. The publication also has a popular Facebook page that has become a “go to” source for local news related to the community.
"Old Bridge Funeral Home's voluntary participation in the Pursuit of Excellence Award program reflects a clear determination to exceed the expectations of those they serve. This prestigious recognition assures families of the high-quality, compassionate service they will receive the moment they walk through the funeral home's front door."

They were also honored – once again -- with the 2017 National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) Pursuit of Excellence Award. Only 165 firms from around the world receive this prestigious recognition. Pursuit of Excellence Award recipients raise the bar on funeral service excellence by adhering to the highest ethical and professional standards and providing unsurpassed service to families and communities.
“Old Bridge Funeral Home’s voluntary participation in the Pursuit of Excellence Award program reflects a clear determination to exceed the expectations of those they serve,” said NFDA chief executive officer Christine Pepper, CAE. “This prestigious recognition assures families of the high-quality, compassionate service they will receive the moment they walk through the funeral home’s front door.”
Old Bridge Funeral Home earned the Best of the Best Award for creation and publication of the All Around Old Bridge newspaper, the only hyper-local publication dedicated to news and other noteworthy accomplishments related to Old Bridge.
“It has been a pleasure to be part of the Old Bridge Business Alliance and to present our idea for All Around Old Bridge,” said David Hernandez, CEO of Jersey Memorial Group, parent company of the Old Bridge Funeral Home. “This is a great town, and now our residents and businesses have a voice and vehicle for news about our town.”
