Offmyshelf.com Offers Worldwide Licensing Exposure For Movies
Online, November 11, 2012 (Newswire.com) - offmyshelf.com is web site portal where Filmmakers, Sales Agents and Acquisition Mangers meet / connect and do business. The web site features a bidding system that allows a rights holder to exploit their film title to the global market, and for buyers to buy and license the titles for all platforms and territories.
"We provide a unique feature called the Rights Bidding System, that allows a buyer to place a bid on specific title for specific territory, giving the rights holder the option of accepting or rejecting the bid", said Abi Sirokh, co-founder of OMS. And then went on to say "The main function is to provide a tool for anyone who owns or controls the rights of a movie, this is a tool that enables the exploitation of titles to potential buyers. And vice-versa, giving buyers access to new content coming on the market as well as access to existing libraries represented by reputable sales agents"
Offmyshelf.com is generally free to register and use for both buyer and seller. The site does not take or hold any rights when titles are listed on its database, but they do take a commission on direct bids accepted by seller and plan to introduce a premium feature for sellers called 'Pay-Per-Rank' in order to fund developments and improve the functionality of the already easy to use site.
The web site was developed and programmed by Vincent Curry over the past few years and after initial test, it was officially launched earlier this year (2012).
