OBJEKT©International Launches North American Edition of Their Boutique, High-End Publication

The new edition, OBJEKT USA/CANADA, will offer a world of opportunities for the international interior design, art, and architectural world to expose their specialties and creative abilities on a worldwide scale to a discerned audience.

OBJEKT©International, a boutique, high-end magazine catering to the urban modernist with a passion for design, art and antiques, modern design and outstanding architecture, is launching the 1st North American edition in April 2016. The North American market has always been a leading subscriber to OBJEKT©International and this special new edition will pave the way for exploration in this part of the world.

OBJEKT USA/CANADA will focus on the discovery of unexpected locations and objects as well as quality photography and articles written by the top specialists in their fields. The magazine will cover antiques, modern arts, classical to the most Avant-garde interiors, garden designs, fine art and architecture. In addition, the world of super yachts, fashion, food, fast cars, and private jets will also be explored.

OBJEKT©International was founded in 1991 by Hans Fonk and has been internationally acclaimed for its quality of content as well as for the quality of the publication itself. The magazine is a family run business with Hans working with his two daughters, Alaïa and Izabel, and specialized partners all over the world. Hans Fonk is both an internationally renowned photographer and art director of the magazine fusing classic and modern styles and surprising its readership with global adventurism in a world of creativity, never compromising on the exceptional quality of the publication.

First published in Dutch in 1991 (German & French), an English edition followed in 1999. The Russian was launched in 2009, and in 2012 China and South Africa joined the team, each publishing their own edition. OBJEKT CHINA/ASIA was launched in January 2015.

OBJEKT USA/ACANADA will be distributed by all major booksellers in the United States including Barnes and Noble, Hastings, Hudson News and more than 700 specialized booksellers. For the launch of the North American edition, Barnes and Noble will promote the magazine nationwide with a special program. In Canada, the magazine will be sold at Indigo, Soles, International News, and specialized booksellers and magazine points of sales at airports.
