The Highlands team will consist of 95 employees, friends, and family members. The event will occur on April 30 at Pinnacle Hills Promenade in Rogers.

The Komen Ozark Race for the Cure raises funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates survivors and honors those who have lost their battle from the disease. Participation in the event and individual fundraising help provide free services for the breast cancer journey, including: education, outreach, screening and diagnostic services, emergency assistance, transportation and research.

Highlands is dedicated to the advancement of cancer research; the group supports Race for the Cure. Highlands is a sponsor of Race for the Cure and is sponsoring the medals. They will also have a booth at the event.

Every year Highlands hosts a t-shirt design contest in anticipation of the event. Team members will be wearing t-shirts depicting the winning design at the races.

Aside from skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women, according to the American Cancer Society (ACS).
