NSI Laser Opens Laser Machining Job Shop

NSI Laser is delighted to announce the opening of its laser machining job shop as part of the newly established App Lab. The NSI Laser team uses an empirical approach to assist customers with laser processing challenges such as recipe development, process refinement, and optimization. With the use of production systems, the manufacturability of the process is also tested.

“We are excited about our advanced laser machining capabilities for a large variety of PCB materials. Our combined experience with ceramics, glass, metals, and many composites makes us a leader in process development,” says Dr. Yung Kuo, Sr. Laser Applications Engineer.

Today’s high-end PCBs require high-frequency circuit materials, creating new challenges for process development. “We are equipped to take on the challenges of these materials to develop processes for micro via holes with well-defined dimensions,” continues Dr. Kuo.
