North American Diaper Company, owned by Falcon Group, is establishing a relationship to support parents in Haiti reduce health issues associated with lack of hygiene products.  Parents in developing countries have significant difficulty securing quality, affordable diapers.  In America, a baby will use five to eight diapers daily.  In developing countries, parents use on average one diaper per WEEK, which means most diapers do not have the most basic of hygiene  protection.  Diaper consumption can represent a day's pay.  Multi-child households are common in Haiti and Dominican Republic and diapering cost can be out of reach for most families.  Some families are washing out used, disposable diapers and reusing.   The Haitian market has become one of North American Diaper Company's top priority because 50% of the parents cannot afford to diaper their babies and North American Diaper Company is passionate about those needs and is supporting local agencies to establish distribution channels to assist with the demand for baby disposable diapers.
