38-year-old author, D.M. Elder is making his debut with his first fantasy novel, A Tangled Vyne of Truth & Lore to be published on April 14, 2015 in eBook format.

A Tangled Vyne of Truth & Lore is the first part of the book Origin of Souls to be released in the series called Zyndervyne. “It’s your classic tale of good versus evil, but with a twist,” Elder says slyly. “It’s been in the works for almost 20 years now, and I’m excited to finally see it come to fruition.”

Elder’s wife,  Amber, who suffers from Ulcerative Colitis, had two surgeries to remove her colon last year. He plans on donating some of his proceeds to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America.

Amber, 30, has been a fierce advocate for those suffering from Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD) such as Ulcerative Colitis. Her blog, ColitisNinja.com, has become quite popular among the IBD community.

Both Elder and Amber have joined forces in their efforts to raise funds and awareness for the disease. “We hope to get at least 100 books sold during the first two weeks of publication,” Amber says.

A Tangled Vyne of Truth & Lore will be available to purchase at the Kindle store on Amazon.com for $2.99 beginning April 14, 2015. Half of the proceeds will be donated to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America. You can find the book’s official pages on Twitter (@Zyndervyne) and Facebook (facebook.com/zyndervyne).
