Niche Association Urges Successful Black Entrepreneurs to Invest in Each Other
Online, October 15, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Orlando, FL October 5, 2009 - Black Business Builders Club encourages successful black entrepreneurs to use their buying power to create wealth in the black community.
Some black entrepreneurs think twice about networking with other african-american business owners due to past negative experiences. Common complaints are that the owners fail to take their business seriously or lack customer service skills. Members of the Black Business Builders Club, however, see things differently. "Enrollment in the Black Business Builders Club has given me a whole new perspective on what it's like to network with my peers," states Wyteria Jacobo.
Aspiring successful black entrepreneurs on occasion find it difficult to create meaningful business relationships with peers whose life experiences are different from their own. Consequently, their efforts to take their business to a more prosperous level falter.
With the Black Business Builders Club, successful black entrepreneurs can freely talk about their difficulties and receive personal attention to overcome business obstacles. Wyteria Jacobo personally benefited from the one-on-one help she received when she connected to the Club in August of 2008. Since she was fairly new to setting up websites, uploading a web page to the worldwide web proved to be a daunting task for her. Fortunately, though, she was able to link up with a fellow Black Business Builder who was skilled at designing web sites. That club member remained on the phone with her for more than an hour to verify that one of her web pages was set up perfectly.
Occurrences like these are just what Lee Green, Black Business Builders Club founder, had in mind when he developed the association on March 4, 2008. Now, more than a year later, more than 2000 people on Facebook are big fans of his vision.
