New TV Show KNIGHTS OF THE CROSS to Be Crowdfunded to Stream on the Christian Channel

'Real Crusades History' YouTube Channel Partners with CEO of the Christian Channel to Tell the True Story of the Crusades

The true story of the Crusades without the typical Hollywood sex-and-blood influence is about to be told in KNIGHTS OF THE CROSS, a new TV show that the "Real Crusades History" YouTube Channel and ChristianChannel.com are going to crowdfund.

"We intend to tell the true story of how Richard the Lion Heart and Saladin fought one of the epic and true Battles in the Holy Land, and we want to tell it as it was, with no editing from Hollywood," said Austin Kelly, CEO of ChristianChannel.com.

Replicating Netflix's model to create and stream its shows, this project intends to reproduce the excitement and gritty drama of the Story of the Crusades in an action-packed show that is actually filled with historical accuracy.

"This is the greatest adventure in Christian history, but it was never told on TV the way it really occurred. This time, we'll show the right historic and religious context," Kelly observed.

Created by J. Stephen Roberts and Austin Kelly, Season 1 of KNIGHTS OF THE CROSS will have six episodes. The fully independent project is expected to be crowdfunded by fans, driven by Christian beliefs and interest in Christian-related media content, and also by viewers interested in accurate depictions of historical events.

"The Crusades were true heroes with stories that conventional media and Hollywood frequently distorted. That's certainly the case of Richard the Lion Heart and his role in Christian and European history. We intend to set the record straight, but doing so in a show that is extremely well-produced and exciting enough to capture the interest of different audiences," the CEO of ChristianChannel.com further stated.

J. Stephen Roberts discusses several aspects of the coming show at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coM new guZRo, as backers are being invited to join the project and support it at the campaign's pre-launch page at https://www.christianchannel.com/knightsofthecross.

The crowdfunding trailer launches on Monday, May 24, 2021, and the campaign will end on Aug. 1, 2021.
