New Turf for One of America's Great Football Stadiums

Toledo, OH, February 1, 2017 (Newswire.com) - One of America’s most beloved college football stadiums heads into 2017 with the latest in artificial turf technology.   

This past year the University of Toledo Rockets athletic program announced it chose FieldTurf to replace the surface at the Glass Bowl, joining hundreds of notable college athletic programs across the country who has trusted FieldTurf.

Head coach Jason Candle, whose team went 5-1 on their home turf and finished with a 9-4 record in 2016, said his players were looking forward to competing on the new field.

“Any time you can make improvements to your stadium, it's good for the program,” Candle said. “Our players are excited about playing on a new FieldTurf surface.”

The new field will showcase FieldTurf’s Revolution 360 system, replacing the original surface, which was installed in 2008.
