New Shotmiser Golf GPS Winter Release - Keep Your Distance - Even On Winter Greens
Online, December 17, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Golf GPS owners have had to use guesswork to estimate how far the temporary green used for winter golf is compared to the normal green front distance stated on a GPS.
Shotmiser GPS users can now map the winter greens on any course with a simple tap of the screen. The function can be turned on or off with another simple tap to select whichever greens are in play.
"We always welcome feedback from our customers and are delighted to be able to provide the winter golf help that many have asked for. It's one more reason for golfers to invest in a Shotmiser. Best of all the Winter Greens function is free to all Shotmiser users." says Sales Manager Mike Lloyd.
Shotmiser have always been innovators. They were the first to use touch screen distance to any point technology on their GPS devices and they also introduced the largest screen seen on on a golf GPS on the Shotmiser G700 model. Now they are the first to add a winter greens mapping function.
The Shotmiser software cleverly adds a winter green to the course map in the exact location specified by the golfer. So while in 'winter mode' the Shotmiser GPS unit gives the precise distance to the winter green.
The Winter Green function is included with all new Shotmiser units and is available as a free software upgrade for existing Shotmiser customers.
Golfers now have year round highly accurate distances shown clearly on their Shotmiser golf GPS.
