New Online Shopping Site Introduces One-of-a-Kind Online Shopping Experience
Online, May 22, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Doll Sanctuary, the first online shopping hub of its kind, is launched under the URL www.dollsanctuary.com.
It is a timely launch for the site, with the emerging trend of young women (and men) between the ages of 18-35 who prefer online shopping as opposed to shopping in physical stores. Most purchase their clothes due to the lower prices found in online shops. Shoppers now have an immense amount of online shops to choose from, and this sheer volume presents yet another challenge.
Founded by friends Rina Rashid and Max Law Chee-Horng, Doll Sanctuary tackles the problem by introducing users, with a penchant for online shopping, a unique experience found in no other existing sites. This is done through its distinct approach of gathering all online shops and categorising their items according to their categories - tops, skirts, pants and others.
A shopper who wanted to search for a halter-neck top previously would need to go through a long and time consuming search from one online shop after another to find the item that he/she desires. And adding to the hassle, some of the items that he/she would have liked may go unnoticed due to the sheer amount of online shops available in the market today.
"As a regular online shopper myself, I have to admit that I find this entire process rather perplexing. I do enjoy online shopping, but the never ending search for something can be rather tiring and takes the fun out of the whole process," said Rina Rashid, co-founder of Doll Sanctuary.
"And that's the main reason the site was created - to eliminate all the hassle from online shopping for users like me and bring the fun back to the experience. Everything from dresses, skirts, scarves and others are now within reach with just a few clicks of the mouse," she added.
The site also brings online store owners who wish to create more exposure for their stores an avenue to display their merchandise. Due to the increasing amount of online shops being created, advertising and promotion can be quite daunting for the sellers too. Doll Sanctuary hopes to step in and increase visibility for each and every store that exists in the market with the site's original features.
Those who wish to list their items on the site can do so at a fee of RM 25 per month, and online shop owners can upload their items whenever they wish to on Doll Sanctuary's website once they have signed up. The amount of items that can be listed by each store is unlimited, and this provides equal opportunities for all online store owners to compete in the market.
For its launch, the site currently offers a 2-month complimentary pass for online shop owners to list their items on the site and online shop owners can write to doll@dollsanctuary.com to list their items. For more information, shoppers and online store owners can visit the site at www.dollsanctuary.com.
