New Marketing Director Announced for The Music Circus and Melody Tent
Online, March 18, 2014 (Newswire.com) - South Shore Playhouse Associates, the parent company of The South Shore Music Circus and The Cape Cod Melody Tent, appoints Deanna Lohnes as the new marketing director.
Lohnes was formerly the CEO and President of Parlance Media, where she modeled web and social media strategies for small businesses. She also served as the community manager and forum moderator for A Soft Space to Land, the company's private online community and educational forum. She has a strong background in digital marketing and performing arts. Lohnes holds a summa cum laude degree in Fine and Performing Arts as well as a degree in marketing. "It was a natural fit," she says, "I've lived on Cape and on the South Shore. I understand the area and its challenges. I'm thrilled to have an opportunity to use my digital marketing skills in a performing arts setting. It's exciting to work with an organization that has an established presence online."
Lohnes plans to increase the company's digital footprint and create a unified presence across multiple platforms. She brings new ideas and a fresh perspective to the position.
Prior to running Parlance Media, Lohnes served as the Director of Financial Operations for Semper International, a niche staffing agency in Boston, MA. In that position she played a critical tactical role in the company's advertising and marketing strategy.
Lohnes currently lives in Plymouth, MA. She looks forward to visiting the Cape and local beaches this summer.
