New iPhone App "DogAt" Locates Dog-Friendly Los Angeles Restaurants, Stores, Parks and Events
Online, April 26, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Pet lovers rejoice! DogAt launches a new iPhone App which helps you find pet-friendly locations throughout the Los Angeles area. Founder Christina Rusboldt, an advocate for pets, decided to create a way for people to be in-the-know about places and events they could bring their four-legged friends.
Complete with a quick and easy search function, DogAt lets pet parents locate over 800+ restaurants, 100+ stores and Los Angeles parks that welcome canines of all shapes and sizes. In addition to their ever-growing database, DogAt features a Calendar Events section for all upcoming pet events in the Los Angeles area with an option to invite your friends and family for a play date. This app also gives back; a portion of the proceeds goes to Much Love Animal Rescue and other organizations in need. "There are so many places you can go in L.A. where you don't have to leave your dog at home. I wanted to create a user friendly way for people to find cool spots that are dog friendly and DogAt is cluing you in on all of them," said Rusboldt.
A lifelong "dog person", Rusboldt made sure to include lists of dog adoptions in the area to encourage pet lovers to rescue dogs and keep them off the streets and out of the pounds. All location listings including information on upcoming pet charity events, rescues, and adoptions, are updated weekly. DogAt is compatible with all iPhones and iPads and is available now in the iTunes store for $1.99.
