New Haven Introduces Rustic Tripod Lamps to Home Décor Line
Homeware designers New Haven have launched their second line of lamps this week, adding the Rustic Floor Tripod Lamp to their elegant, soothing collection of home accoutrements. A company spokesperson said the rustic lamp is the perfect addition to any modern space.

Cold winter nights, balmy summers and stories of mariners present and past are part of the inspiration of the new lamp, the New Haven spokesperson said.

Whereas New Haven’s other lighting options feature columns for support, the tripod lamp’s focal point is its trio of wooden legs. The design coincides with the popular tripod lamps trend, while adding New Haven’s unique feel.
The allure of the tripod lamp goes back hundreds of years to navigation instruments which implemented a tripod stand in order to support the devices that would lead sailors home. And, in a certain sense, New Haven said this week, is exactly what the company wants for owners of the tripod lamp.
“There was no greater feeling for a sailor than to walk through the door of his home after long, arduous months at sea,” they said. “That’s exactly how we want New Haven customers to feel when they enter a room accented with our tripod lamp and other lighting and décor products.”
The Rustic Tripod comes in both large and small sizes. Photos of the product reveal a subtle lampshade crowning the three wooden legs. The lamp is sure to stand tall in any room, New Haven said, as well as integrate with other New Haven lamps.
This past week the company announced the launch of its Large Column Floor Lamp and its Small Column Floor Lamp. The column lamps come in two colors: charcoal and ivory.
When combined with the natural hues of the rustic tripod lamp, the column floor lamps create a “relaxed, classic feel,” the spokesperson said.
Earlier this month, New Haven launched a new line of maritime-themed throw pillows. Each new product can stand alone on its own, but New Haven foresee homeowners choosing to decorate their homes with each one of the company’s new releases.
