The Advanced Practice Provider Association of America (APPAA), the only trade association representing both Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, today announced the launch of their new website and expanded member services.

The association and website will be a tremendous value to Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. “Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners are the future of the healthcare delivery system,” said Kaitlin Martocchio, Director of Marketing and Communications for the APPAA. “Our mission is to empower PA and NP providers to be successful in the workplace and at home. We do this through a number of channels, including: offering referral fees for open PA and NP jobs, paying APPAA members for content, providing an in-depth searchable nationwide employer directory and having insurance and investment advisors on staff to work with our members.”

Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, collectively known as Advanced Practice Providers (APP), are healthcare providers with Master’s Degrees, have prescription authority and can bill Medicare. APPs work in both inpatient and outpatient settings and across almost every medical specialty.

Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners are encouraged to visit www.appaa.org to review APPAA benefits and services. Association dues are $99 a year, which provide members with unlimited access to APPAA services, advisors (career, investment and insurance) and applicable member discounts.
