Nation's First and Longest Running Cannabis Tour Receives Marijuana Hospitality License From the City of Denver

Colorado Cannabis Tours is awarded one of the first marijuana hospitality licenses in the country by the city of Denver after 10 years of success and leading the cannabis tourism industry.

Colorado Cannabis Tours, operating out of Denver, Colorado, was just awarded a marijuana hospitality license, earning them the right to provide a space for social cannabis consumption within city limits. After close to 10 years in the cannabis space, and aiding lawmakers in creating the Marijuana Hospitality Bill, Cannabis Tours co-owners Michael Eymer, Charles Conti, and Heidi Keyes are proud to be a part of this next step forward in normalizing adult cannabis use.

Eymer, Conti and Keyes have been anticipating this day for many years, though they were unsure it would ever be a reality. They thought hosting CNN anchor Randi Kaye LIVE on New Year's Eve from one of their tour buses might be the pinnacle for the brand - but they were wrong. Eymer says, "As a legacy brand, we are enormously proud to have trailblazed cannabis hospitality for entrepreneurs throughout Denver, the state of Colorado, and beyond. We encourage our industry allies to be creative and develop new and interesting activities and services to truly enrich this space and to leave their own unique mark, not unlike the footnote we've added to the pages of history here." Cannabis Tours has leveled up, and they hope their fellow cannabis hospitality businesses do the same.

Cannabis Tours hosts:

  • Denver city cannabis cultivation and dispensary tours with cannabis consumption permitted on board the CCT tour buses.
  • Puff, Pass, and Paint classes where participants are able to smoke, vape, etc., in the CCT mobile lounge during an artist-led painting class.
  • Special event mobile consumption lounges.
  • An array of tourism and hospitality activities such as grow tours, 420-friendly hotels, brew tours, cooking with cannabis, concentrate / hash classes, cannabis dinners, mountain tours, and more.

Cannabis Tours, originally Colorado Cannabis Tours, was formed in 2014 in Denver, Colorado, by longtime friends Michael Eymer and Charles Conti. After joining forces with artist Heidi Keyes in 2015, Colorado Cannabis Tours expanded to several states and became simply Cannabis Tours. After several successful years operating dispensary tours, painting classes, mountain tours, 420-friendly hotels, and infused cooking classes coast to coast, Cannabis Tours was forced to slow down during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Back in business and stronger than ever, the Cannabis Tours team is the longest-run cannabis tourism company in the state, perhaps even the world. The company has been featured in many major outlets, including the New York Times, HBO, BuzzFeed, CNN, VICE, BBC News, Bravo, and many more.
