About the Producer - Jeff Richfield is a musician and composer dedicated to using music for healing the nations. He wrote "We’re A City On Its Knees" months before the 9/11 attack out of a place of his own struggles that stretched his faith. He was asked to play the song live May of 2001 in Washington D.C. at our nation’s capital for The National Day of Prayer.
"I can't just sit around and be an awestruck spectator as our communities are threatened by terror, shootings, and social injustice. I want to align with those who are quickened by these times to be the light, rise above the challenges, build bridges, and champion hope through the love of Christ whenever possible. My offering is this redemptive song and prayer at the end, “Be the light” to memorialize those who are ruthlessly lost.” - Jeff Richfield
We shall never forget.
