NASA Legend and Apollo 13 Commander Captain James Lovell Holds News Conference at Morehead Planetarium and Science Center

Hear from the man who now-famously uttered the words: “Houston, we have a problem,” and then proceeded to lead his crew to modify the Apollo 13 lunar module into an effective lifeboat to safely return to earth. From 1959 to 1975, Lovell and all the NASA astronauts trained at Morehead in celestial navigation – how to navigate space craft by the stars.
