Mytranslation is a start-up that aims to offer an alternative to poor quality automatic translation machines and expensive translation agencies. The platform aims to easily put clients in contact with professional freelance translators worldwide. Being an online platform, intermediary costs are therefore reduced without having an effect on quality.
Translations are available to and from the following languages: French, English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (European and Brazilian), Dutch, German and cover the following fields: general, editorial, technical, scientific, medical, marketing and communication, financial, IT, legal, CV and cover letters.
The whole process takes place online and we provide free and instant quotes. A client simply has to create an account and post documents for translation. A translator will soon after begin working on the project and delivers the completed translation to through the platform. A translator simply has to create an account and take a language test. If the test is validated, translators then have free access to the Marketplace and accept projects. Finally, all payments are made through the secured PayPal platform.
People have the choice between two services. The first Express service is for urgent needs. The platform automatically calculates a deadline based on the number of words in the document. Clients upload documents to the Marketplace and the first translator available will start working on the project and have it delivered for the calculated deadline (0.09€/word). The second service, is called Auction service and is for less urgent needs. Clients upload documents to the Marketplace and receive several price and deadline proposals from different translators. Clients can then compare proposals and translator profiles to choose the best translator for the project (starting from 0.06€/word).
