1. Crackle Glass is a ceramic tile with colored glass chips that are melted to fill the depression in the ceramic body. During the cooling process the glass crazes. Each piece is unique.
2. All colors are V2 in shading. Make sure this product is inspected and accepted by the end user before installing.
3. Crackle Glass may be installed on interior walls, light duty counters and floors. A residential bathroom or powder room that gets light traffic is acceptable. Crackle Glass can be used commercially in most vertical locations. Also see ANSI 137.1
4. Crackle Glass may be used in wet areas only if the glass is well sealed with a penetrating sealer. It may stain if not sealed properly.
5. All glass can scratch, especially on floors.
6. To cut, use a tile wet saw with a diamond blade designed for cutting glass. Pearl, MK, Target, and many other blade manufacturers make specialty blades for glass tiles. Always wear eye protection.
Care
Regular cleaning with a mild bathroom cleaner or neutral tile cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge according to the manufacturer of the cleaner is recommended. Buff dry with a soft cloth. Do not use acids, corrosive, or abrasive cleaners.
