My Survival Gardening helps people find their green thumb

A new site, My Survival Gardening, helps users find what they need to grow the best garden, as well as décor to enhance their outdoor spaces.

One recent post looked at using seed tape to plant a garden.

"We want to share the information about the next wave of gardening. Anything people need to make their outdoor spaces look amazing or to curate their garden is available through us."

Pamela Welch, Owner

“Seed tapes are strips of biodegradable paper encapsulated with seeds,” the site said. “They are spaced out just right to ensure the maximum potential for them to produce a successful and functional plant. Seed tapes are incredibly easy to install as well. They come in a perfectly spaced out roll. So, essentially, all you have to do to get them into the ground is to dig, unroll, recover with the recommended amount of soil, and water accordingly.”

Another post examined the way people can awaken their green thumbs.

“Curating a garden is a relaxing and enjoyable hobby; however, specific knowledge is required for it to be done correctly,” the site said. “Do not overwhelm yourself. When you are beginning your garden, only grow a little bit so you get the feel for it. You can grow more each year. Stay organized. There are signs that you can put in front of each plant to signify which variety it is. This is especially important when you follow the advice to vary your plants. You should also keep a log of all your plant types and what you have done so that you may repeat the process in the future if successful.”
