My Salon Scoop Launches Contest to Highlight Healthy Hair Hairstylist

Online, September 26, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Many hair industry awards celebrate top styling skills alone without regard to the components of service that salon clients really value. With the Ultimate Hairapy Award, My Salon Scoop will highlight a hairstylist that focuses beyond hot hair but also on healthy hair.

From September 22 through October 20, hair salon clients across the country can nominate a hairstylist for the Ultimate Hairapy Award by submitting a brief essay about how their hairstylist promotes ongoing healthy hair practices. "Since the My Salon Scoop's mission has concentrated on helping women of color make smarter decisions to have healthier hair, this award is a special one for us," said, V.
