Mutts, Meows & McCullers: Houson Astros Pitcher Lance McCullers, JR. and Houston Pets Alive! to Host a Benefit for Houston Pets
HOUSTON, TX, February 9, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Houston Astros pitcher Lance McCullers, Jr., 22, and his wife Kara will be lending their names to Mutts, Meows & McCullers on Saturday, February 13 to benefit Houston Pets Alive! A Meet and Greet and Photo Booth with Mr. McCullers will be open from 2:30–3:00 p.m. and 3:30–4:00 p.m. Those wishing to take a photo with Lance McCullers are asked to make a minimum donation of $10 to HPA! Volunteers from Houston Pets Alive! will be on-hand with adorable and adoptable dogs and cats saved from Houston’s shelters. In addition to pet adoptions, the event will include a silent auction of game-worn Astros gear, the Sauer Kraut food truck, DJ RTB, Pic Photo Booth Houston, and a kissing booth with adoptable dogs for Valentine’s Day. Pets are welcome so bring your friends both four-legged and two-legged! The event is free and open to the public.

Houston Pets Alive! (HPA!) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to helping Houston become no-kill. HPA! has saved the lives of 382 Houston pets. HPA! is focused on creating innovative programs to lower the number of animals going into the shelters and increase animals leaving the shelters alive.
