Music Album Dedicated to Space Probes by New Age Artist Albedo
Salt Lake City, UT, August 24, 2014 (Newswire.com) - The New Age Music Artist Albedo has just released a new album called Space Probes, which is completely dedicated to robotic spacecraft, on August 25th. It contains musical interpretations of select space probes of achievement. Unmanned robotic spacecraft that explored astronomical objects in our solar system other than earth, and were the first successful flyby, orbiter, lander, rover or sample return missions. Voyager 2, Galileo, Cassini, etc. The music itself is a mixture of live instruments, synthetics, plus professional orchestra and choir samples. The musical style is considered Space Music, which is a sub-genre of New Age music. It's similar to the artists Mannheim Steamroller, Vangelis and Isao Tomita.
The 18 space probes featured on the album are not limited to NASA and JPL, but also include probes from the former Soviet Union, Europe and Japan. Several music videos have also been released and are currently being featured on You Tube. They contain imagery of space probes and planets set to the music of the album.
Albedo is a New Age music artist who also writes in the Classical, Soundtrack and Dance genres. Since being formed in January of 2002, 10 studio albums have been officially released including a New Age cover album of music from Final Fantasy VI called Magitek in 2013. A New Age Christmas album in 2012 that contains a collection of secular and sacred Holiday songs similar in style to Mannheim Steamroller, Kurt Bestor, and Jon Schmidt. The Battle of Shiloh, composed by Kelly Richardson, from his album "Digital Fingers" released in 2010 was performed at Carnegie Hall in April of 2011.
