Dawn Brinkley, the reigning Mrs North Carolina 2010, suffers from Dystonia, a little known debilitating movement disorder, will be competing in the Mrs United States pageant. As a member of the board of American Dystonia Society and the spouse of a Marine Corps Aviator, Mrs Brinkley is a dedicated advocate for Dystonia and the Wounded Warriors. She will take time off her pageant preparations and schedule to make a visit some Very Important People of Las Vegas. She will make a visit with the patients of Sunrise Children's Hospital in Las Vegas on Friday, July 16th. She will be available to answer questions about her battle with Dystonia as well as the added burden of being the spouse of a Marine who has participated in combat deployments and about the Wounded Warriors she supports.
